DEVELOP YOUR BODY, INSPIRE YOUR MIND, OPEN YOUR HEART, ELEVATE YOUR SPIRIT

Heart And Mind Matters Tina Thrussell

What have you done?

I remember hearing many times in my lifetime, “What have you done?”   This was usually a prickly response to something gone ‘bad’ or ‘wrong’.  The energy of  “Oh no! What have you done?” was guilt-inducing.

But this morning before we even got out of bed, Neil offered me a new perspective on that question:

Set a timer for 5 or 10 minutes and just start writing – What have you done?  Write it from the perspective of what you have achieved in your life. Eg. Learned to ride a bike, bake, graduated from high school, acted in a play, travelled, got married, etc.

I’m about to sit down and do this exercise as soon as I send you this email and I invite you to do it right now, too.

I would love it if you write/ call me and let me what the exercise did for you… were you surprised at how much you accomplished?  Pleased? Excited? Successful?Feeling more confident and capable?  I’ll let you know next week how it goes for me.  Then we’ll look at the second step together.

Have fun with it!
