1. A few weeks ago, I sent out a request to our readers to consider signing the petition regarding the 350,000 unwed moms who lost their babies to forced adoption in the 1940s to 1970s.
We are delighted to report that more than 500 people signed the petition and the document has now been certified to present to the House of Commons. This is a big step toward the Government of Canada issuing a a formal apology and funding to assist those impacted (21 years of persistence to make this happen!) We are so grateful!
