Pay Attention to These 7 Things to be Happy

I am so grateful to be a certified Sound Wellness Practitioner; we are exposed to so much wonderful education and information!!

For example, within our facebook support group for practitioners, there was recently a post about 7 things that affect vibrational frequency, which served as an amazing reminder.

I was inspired to take that post and massage the writing so that it could be incorporated into a booklet I am currently producing called, “Lexicon 2022 – New Languaging for a New World”.

I reprint for you here the chapter, “Conscious Awareness and Conscious Action” from that booklet:

Quantum physics provides a starting point with the awareness that all energy – the energies that constitute you, your thoughts, and your feelings – is in vibration at different frequencies.

Yet, there are only two basic vibrational frequencies – negative and positive – as illustrated by the magnet. Every magnet has a negative pole and a positive pole.

Any thought or feeling you have broadcasts either a positive (high vibrational) or a negative (low vibrational) energy. 

Being consciously aware of the energy you emit invites conscious action. That is, pay attention to where your focus is placed and redirect your thoughts and attention when you are focused on low vibrational thoughts and actions. The reward for doing this is the generation of positive feelings for yourself, and making a more positive impact in the world.

There are seven energies that can be consciously focused on to affect change in the world:

* Thoughts *

Every thought emits a frequency to the universe and this frequency goes back to its origin. This means that if you have high frequency (positive) thoughts about things like acts of kindness, encouragement, possibility, helping others, animals or the planet, this will all come back to you. Likewise, low vibrational (negative) thoughts – such as discouragement, sadness, anger, and fear – also come back to you. This is the basis for the Law of Attraction – what you focus on expands in your life. Whatever you are placing your focus and attention on will be attracted into your life. To become more consciously aware of your thoughts, ask yourself “Is this thought positively affecting my world?”

* People *

The people around you also directly influence your vibrational frequency. If you surround yourself with happy, positive, loving people, you will also enter this vibration. On the other hand, if you surround yourself with people who complain, gossip and are pessimistic, they can lower your frequency.  Notice how you feel when you are with people. It may be necessary to spend less time with those who negatively impact your vibrational frequency.

* Music *

Music has the ability to strongly impact emotions, which makes music very powerful. Pay attention to the lyrics of the music you listen to, because the lyrics can either increase or decrease your vibrational frequency. Listening to music with lyrics about kindness, love, peace, caring, etc., will definitely help you feel good… and you attract into your life exactly what you feel.

* Visual Stimulation *

When you watch videos, television programs (including the news), etc., your brain accepts what you are watching as a reality and releases chemistry into your body which matches the energy of what you are watching. Consciously choosing to watch programs that deliver positive, uplifting messages can release the four main brain chemicals, dopamine, serotonin, oxytocin and endorphins, which can drive the positive emotions that you feel throughout your day.

* Environment *

The environments that you live and work in will also affect your vibrational frequency. If you love what surrounds you, if you live and work in an organized and clean environment, your vibration will be higher than if you spend a lot of time in a messy and dirty environment. It’s also worth noting that holding onto things out of obligation or sentimentality can deplete your energy, while keeping your living and working spaces free of any excess items that you no longer need, nor love, can increase your energy.  Creating space by releasing what no longer serves you creates space for more of what you want to come into your life.

* Gratitude *

The secret to happiness is Gratitude. There are multitudes of studies to provide evidence that gratitude positively affects your vibrational frequency, and therefore, the way you feel. Become thankful for everything – for the good things as well as for what you consider to be the bad things. Be grateful for all your experiences because there are gifts in even what is perceived as the ‘worst’ of situations. Take the time to look for those gifts, because gratitude opens the door for more good things to happen in your life.

 * Words *

Words hold more power than most people give credit for. Spelling is considered to be the way to assemble letters in a word correctly. But spelling is so much more – it is, in effect, casting a spell. Words can be used constructively – such as words of encouragement – or destructively – such as words of despair.  Words have the power to destroy and the power to create.

Sometimes a single word can change everything.

It is for this reason that the next chapter in this publication offers suggestions for using words in a way that cast a positive spell on our world.
